Goodwill North Central Texas needs your donations to help sustain our mission! Goodwill relies on the sale of donated items to create jobs and fund various programs that cater to people with disabilities, disadvantages and other barriers to employment.
Last year, Goodwill placed 1,953 people in employment and more than 4,500 people received education, training and mentoring to strengthen their skills through our programs. North Texas Institute, Work Adjustment Training, and GoodwillWorks are just a few examples of the programs benefiting our community. Goodwill’s Donation Impact Calculator shows donors the impact of their donations in terms of hours of career counseling, on the job training, resume preparation, and other services.
New donation rules make it easier than ever to donate! We will accept just about anything, except for the following due to environmental and safety considerations:
- Hazardous Materials such as chemicals, gasoline, and paint
- Bed materials such as mattresses, box springs, pillows and water bed components
- Automobile parts like tires and engines
We do accept TVs, but only at the following locations:
- Goodwill North Central Texas’s Campus Drive Headquarters at 4005 Campus Dr., Fort Worth, TX 76119
- Three City of Fort Worth Drop-off stations:
- 2400 Brennan Ave
- 5150 Martin Luther King Jr. Freeway
- 6260 Old Hemphill Road
Our planet also reaps the benefits of your donations and the impact they carry. Since 2011, Goodwill North Central Texas has helped keep more than 78,350 tons of items from landing in local landfills. Even items such as metals, textiles, shoes, computers, and printers that can’t be sold are recycled instead of thrown away!
