On Tuesday, December 6th, Goodwill North Central Texas hosted its Annual Board/Staff Luncheon to celebrate another great year of Goodwill! During this event we recognized those individuals celebrating 5, 10, 15, 20 and even 35 years of service to Goodwill North Central Texas.
In addition, annual awards were presented honoring the hard work and dedication of our staff, clients and community partners.
Congratulations to our graduate of the year, Dylan Stokes, a graduate of our E-Squared program.
Our Achiever of the Year was Terry Baker, who earned his CDL license with NTI, worked for our transportation team and now serves as a CDL instructor for NTI.
Ashley Mabey was named our Shining S.T.A.R. of the year, recognizing her increased confidence.
Justan Martinez was named our Team Member of the Year for Admin and Contacts.
Our Workforce Development Team Member of the Year was Cecilia Valdiviezo, for always going the extra mile for our clients.
Amber Tamplin was named Team Member of the Year for our Donated Goods and Retail program.
The Maintenance crew was recognized as the outstanding team of the year for Administration and Contracts, for their hard work.
The Digital Career Accelerator was named outstanding team of the year for Workforce Development, for their focus on external outreach with community partners.
Our Cooper Store was named Outstanding Team of the Year for Donated Goods and Retail, for their customer service and mission awareness.
And Judge Mary Tom Cravens Curnutt was recognized as Goodwill North Central Texas’ community member of the year. She played a large part in the success of E-Squared this year by referring at-risk youth to the program through the Tarrant County Juvenile Court system.
