On Tuesday, December 9th, Goodwill North Central Texas held its Annual Board/Staff Holiday Luncheon to celebrate another GOOD year of Goodwill! During this event individuals celebrating 10, 15, 25 and even 40 years of service to Goodwill North Central Texas were recognized for their tenure with the organization. In addition, annual awards were presented honoring the hard work and dedication of exceptional staff, clients and community partners.

Congratulations to our graduate of the year, Alejandra Molin, from our adult GED program A-Squared. In 2024 she earned her GED with Goodwill, became a US citizen and began her role as a substitute teacher and teacher’s aide with Arlington ISD. Read her story here.

Our Achiever of the Year was Sushma Bogati, who graduated from the COMPTIA Network+ course offered by our career school, the North Texas Institute for Career Development.

Pedro Cordero was named our Shining S.T.A.R. of the year from our Fort Worth life skills facility.

Felicia Kelley from our HR team was named our Team Member of the Year for Admin and Contacts.

Our Workforce Development Team Member of the Year was Phillip Adams.

And Jojo Tovar, assistant manager of our Attended Donation Stations, was named Team Member of the Year for our Donated Goods and Retail program.

Our Information Technology team was named team of the year for Admin & Contracts for their work across all Goodwill locations.

Our Rehabilitation team was named outstanding team of the year for Workforce Development.

And the team at the Outlet was named team of the Year for Donated Goods and Retail, for their customer service and mission awareness.

And lastly, Lani Hahn from the Haltom City Public Library was named our Community Member of the Year for their work with our ESL program L-Squared.

Congratulations to our honorees! These award recipients play a vital role in supporting our mission to create lives of independence and build a stronger local community. It’s their efforts that make Goodwill great!
