If you follow us on Facebook you’d know that we’re gearing up for Earth Day! To reduce the use of plastic and harmful chemicals, we’re giving away eco-friendly bags to the first 20 customers who make a purchase and the first 20 people who make a donation at our locations tomorrow! Doing something as small as replacing your bags, can make a HUGE impact. Along with our giveaway, here are two other ways to celebrate Earth Day!
Donating Not Trashing:
Since 2011, Goodwill has kept more than 78,360 tons of items from winding up in local landfills and dumpsters. Items that can’t be sold in our locations are recycled instead of discarded. Our local donation centers and Good2Go Home Pickup Service in Northeast Tarrant County just two of the many avenues you can take to donate to Goodwill.
Upcycling is the New Recycling:
In the days of social media and technology, it’s almost impossible NOT to find inspiration of what you could do with the simplest items. Our Pinterest Board is filled with upcycle projects for you and your family to create! While you’re at it, why don’t you tag us in your creations!
