We’re starting 2020 off with a great deal for teachers! Back by popular demand, on Saturday, January 4th at the Goodwill Outlet (4005 Campus Drive, Fort Worth) teachers with a valid school ID can purchase supplies and crafts for just .49 cents per pound!
From 8 a.m. – 6 p.m., teachers can expect to find crafts and items to decorate their classroom including binders, glue, yarn and other crafting materials, storage containers, writing and coloring utensils, seasonal decorations and educational games in sale bins. One row in the store will be exclusive to teachers on the day of the sale, but the discount will apply to anything store-wide.
The Goodwill Outlet, which launched in 2013, sells items that didn’t sell during a five-week rotation in a Goodwill North Central Texas retail store or was deemed unfit for traditional sale. Clothing and smaller items are sold for just $1.49 per pound, while any single item seven pounds or more is sold at a flat price of $5. Many individuals who typically shop the outlet have their own resale operations or are interested in repurpose projects.
As with all Goodwill North Central Texas retail locations, revenue from sales at the Outlet go to support Goodwill’s charitable mission of providing jobs and job training to individuals with disabilities or other barriers to employment.
