Goodwill Partners with the City of Fort Worth for Summer Earn & Learn

This year, Goodwill had the opportunity to partner with the City of Fort Worth to teach students with disabilities valuable job skills and gain independence. Check out their stories, made possible with help from Workforce Solutions for Tarrant County and Texas Workforce Solutions- Vocational Rehabilitation.

Summer Earn and Learn Student

Daniel is learning valuable data entry skills at the Municipal Court as part of Goodwill’s Summer Earn & Learn program!

Saddle up! Jesse is gaining job experience with the Event Coordination staff of Will Rogers Memorial Center this summer.

Thomas Place Community Center knows the value of hard work and fun! Those qualities helped Jayden gain confidence and paid work experience.

Dylan participated in his second Summer Earn & Learn training with the Fort Worth Convention Center!

These students are learning administrative and communication skills with the City Manager’s Office, and had the opportunity to meet Fort Worth’s recently elected Mayor Mattie Parker!

As this year’s summer activities end, we’re excited to see where all of our participants go with the knowledge they’ve picked up from their time with Goodwill and the City of Fort Worth. Keep an eye out for next year’s enrollment opening and even more success stories!
