The Golden Standard

Goodwill’s 2017 Processing Olympics was a success!

Athletes from across the Fort Worth area traveled far and wide to compete in seven events. Records were broken and winners were crowned. This year, 151 Goodwill North Central Texas employees representing 23 retail stores and 18 attended donation centers came to compete with some of the coolest team outfits!

Our best retail team members competed in seven events to show off how good they are at their jobs in events including filling bins with bags of clothing, sorting clothing and hardline donations, hanging and pricing clothing and hardlines, pre-scanning books for sale, sorting hangers and shrink wrapping a pallet of boxes. The top three contestants in each event will be awarded gold, silver and bronze medals.

We had live updates running from our Twitter showing all the events and winners.

This is always a great time and it gives our employees an opportunity to show off all their hard work and in 2020, we plan to make the next Olympics even better!
