Goodwill North Central Texas prides itself on removing barriers to employment and changing lives through the Power of Work. Since the organization’s founding in 1949, Goodwill has served individuals with disabilities, at-risk youth, the formerly incarcerated, veterans and their families and those experiencing homelessness. One program that works with people with disabilities is the S.T.A.R.S. program, a licensed independent living skills program, with locations in Fort Worth and Grapevine.
